Getting your Fire TV connected to Nimbus808 is quick and simple. Follow these easy steps to start publishing content to your screen in minutes.
Compatible Devices
These Fire TV devices are compatible with Nimbus808:
- โ Fire TV Stick 4K Max
- โ Fire TV Stick 4K Plus
- โ Fire TV Cube
- โ Fire TV smart TVs
These devices are NOT compatible with Nimbus808:
- โFire TV Stick HD
- โFire TV Stick 4K Select
Setup
Step 1 โ Plug in and setup the Fire TV
Insert the Amazon Fire TV Stick into your TVโs HDMI port and connect the power cable.

After the stick powers up, pair the remote and use the QR code or remote to set up Wi-Fi and connect to an Amazon account. Complete the Fire TV setup menus until the Fire TV home / launcher screen is displayed.

Step 2 โ Install the Nimbus808 player app on your Fire TV
There are two options for installing Nimbus808 on the Fire TV.
- Remotely, on a phone or PC web browser, through the Amazon Appstore
- On the Fire TV using the TV remote
Option 1: Remotely deliver the Nimbus808 app to your Amazon Fire TV
- On a phone or PC, open a web browser and navigate to the Nimbus808 listing in the Amazon Appstore:

- Sign in to the Amazon account used to configure the Amazon Fire TV

- Back in the Nimbus808 Appstore listing, click on the ‘Deliver’ button

- After download is complete, the Nimbus808 application will appear under Your apps and channels on the Fire TV

Launch the application and move to Step 3 – Pair and configure your display
Option 2: Install Nimbus808 on the Fire TV using the TV remote
- From the Fire TV home / launcher screen click on the menu button โฐ on the remote or navigate to the menu option โฐ in the top navigation bar. Select the Appstore option in the menu

- Click on the search icon โ in the Appstore, hold down the microphone button on the remote to search for Nimbus808 using Alexa. Or, if that doesn’t work, type in Nimbus808 in the search box using the remote

- In the search results Nimbus808 will appear under Apps and Games

- Click on the icon to download and install

- After downloading and installing the application will launch, proceed to Step 3 – Pair and configure your display
Step 3 โ Pair and configure your display
Connect your Nimbus808 player app running on your Amazon Fire TV to your Nimbus808 account and deploy the content to the TV.
- If not already running, launch the Nimbus808 application installed above

- Using the remote, click on the Pair button. You will see the pairing view

- To complete the pairing, scan the QR code with your phone or, on any web browser, go to: https://dashboard.nimbus808/displays/registerdisplay.
If you are not already logged in, you will have to log in to your Nimbus808 account / workspace.
On the Register Display view, enter the pairing code displayed on the Fire TV, enter a name for the display, an optional description, and click Approve
- After pairing, the display will redirect to a menu to select the content to display on the Fire TV. You can select the content in the Nimbus808 dashboard, or on the Fire TV using the remote.

Select the content to display and the design or playlist will load
Congratulations!
You have successfully connected your Amazon Fire TV to your Nimbus808 account. You can now easily update content either on the Fire TV or remotely from anywhere with the Nimbus808 dashboard.
On the Fire TV click the back โฎ button on the remote to return the Nimbus808 configuration menu.

Click Select Content to show all the content available for display in your workspace, and select whatever you want to show.
From the Nimbus808 dashboard, navigate to the Displays view. Hover over the display you want to update, and click the edit icon.

Click configure and select your content, the display will immediately update.
While editing a design or playlist, use the assign to display button
to select which displays the item being edited is deployed to

Once the content is assigned to a display, you can immediately publish changes as you edit. Simply press the publish changes button
. Updates will are instantly deployed to your Fire TV display.
