You can use digital signage without internet. But Nimbus 808 is a cloud-based digital signage platform, so an internet connection is needed for displays to receive new content, changes to playlist schedules, or any other changes from the cloud-based app. However, if the display is using the Nimbus 808 Android, Amazon, or PC app, then that data is all downloaded and cached locally, and will continue displaying during a disconnect.

Alternatively, if you’re displaying Nimbus 808 content via a web browser, your display options are much more limited without internet.
