Before You Begin

Before setting up your Android TV device, make sure you have:

• An Android TV or Google TV device connected to the internet
• A Google account signed into the Google Play Store
• A free Nimbus808 account
• Access to the Nimbus808 web dashboard

Set Up

Step 1 — Plug in and setup the Android TV device

On your Android TV:

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Search for Nimbus808.
3. Select the app.
4. Click Download and Install.

Once the installation is complete, open the app.

Step 2: Launch the App

When you open Nimbus808 for the first time, the app will display:

• Pair and WiFi Settings
• Click to Pair
• A unique Device Code
• A QR Code

Keep this screen open—you’ll use it to connect the TV to your Nimbus808 account.

Step 3: Register Your Device

On your computer or mobile device:

1. Sign in to your Nimbus808 account.
2. Navigate to Displays.
3. Select + Register Display.
4. Enter the Device Pairing Code, NIM-XXXXXX, shown on your TV (or scan the QR code if supported).
5. Give your screen a name (for example, Lobby TV or Restaurant Menu).

Your Android TV is now linked to your account.

Step 4: Add Content

Create the content you want to display.

Nimbus808 supports content such as:

• Images
• Videos
• Restaurant menus
• Promotions
• Employee announcements
• Company news
• Calendars
• Weather
• Social media
• Web pages
• Dashboards
• Playlists

Upload your content or choose one of Nimbus808’s ready-to-use templates.

Step 5: Publish to Your Screen

Once your content is ready:

1. Select your Android TV.
2. Assign a playlist or design.
3. Click Publish.

Within a few seconds, your display will automatically update.
