Groups categorize Users into areas of access based on their roles or tasks. This access can involve specific devices and/or specific topics. Groups settings (add, edit, delete) are managed by an Owner, Administrator, or Developer role.
Together Roles and Groups determines what access a User has within the Nimbus808 set-up environment (if any), and/or what dashboard(s) and metrics they see when they log into a specific domain URL.
If a User or Group has access to multiple projects on 1 domain, they will be able to view all the projects (they have access to) with a single login. No need to log into each project separately. For runtimes, if a User has already logged in for 1 runtime on the domain, they will not need to login again for additional runtimes for which they have access to. Authorized users can have multiple projects open for editing and multiple runtimes open. Different tabs or windows can be used for this.
