Robustel R3000-4L

In this article we are connecting a Robustel R3000-4L Router to Nimbus MQTT solution platform.

Learn how to set up the Robustel R3000-4L Router to send/receive data over Nimbus808

Requirements:

• Robustel R3000-4L Router
• Nimbus808 Account

This guide assumes that you have internet access on your Robustel router, and have downloaded and installed the MQTT plugin from the E2C app store.

Robustel Configuration

1. Navigate to the graphical user interface of the Robustel router

2. Login with an Administrator account

Enabling MQTT

This guide assumes that you have downloaded the necessary MQTT plugin from the E2C app store and uploaded it to your Robustel router

3. Navigate to Edge2Cloud tab
4. Click E2C MQTT
5. Enable MQTT under General Settings

3. Enter in the following credentials:
   • Hostname of Nimbus808 instance into Remote Server
   • Port of Nimbus808 instance into Remote Port

Configuring MQTT’s Topic Settings

7. Configure Robustel to send data to Nimbus808
   • Enter in a topic into Publish Topic section
8. Configure Robustel to receive data from Nimbus808
   • Enter in a topic into Subscribe Topic section

Validate MQTT Connection

9. Set a Birth Topic and a Birth Message
10. Restart MQTT on the graphical user interface and observe Birth Topic’s message.
