Add Device

Select the Add Device button under the Data Source tab. A new window will appear.


Type the Device name, description, and client id, then, click Add Device.

  • Device Name: Specify the name of the device.
  • Device Description: Describe what the device is for. 
  • Client ID: The client ID is the unique identifier for a device (PLC/HMI) that is typically set up within the devices’ software. Once the client ID is placed in this field then the dashboard can properly determine if it is connected or disconnected. Device status is only available when this is correctly filled.

Connected devices will be listed on the Devices table.
