In the Devices table, select the pencil icon under the Edit column in the row of the device to be edited.

Make edits, click Save Changes

- Device Name: Specify the name of the device.
- Device Description: Describe what the device is for.
- Client ID: The client ID is the unique identifier for a device (PLC/HMI) that is typically set up within the devices’ software. Once the client ID is placed in this field then the dashboard can properly determine if it is connected or disconnected. Device status is only available when this is correctly filled.
