Toolbar

The Top Navigation Toolbar provides controls for manipulating a project.


File tools

The File tools provide the main actions for manipulating a project.

  • Save: Saves the current project.
  • Settings: Menu to adjust the project name, description, and background color.
  • Delete: Removes selected Widgets from the Canvas.
  • Copy: Duplicates selected Widgets to the clipboard.
  • Paste: Inserts copied items from the clipboard.
  • Undo: Reverses the last action or change. Only operations performed within the editor canvas can be undone using the Undo icon, ex. adding, deleting, moving, pasting, and resizing.

Alignment

The Alignment section provides different options for aligning, centering, and distributing selected Widgets.

  • Align Top: Moves selected objects so their top edges are aligned with the topmost object.
  • Align Bottom: Moves selected objects so their bottom edges are aligned with the bottommost object.
  • Align Vertical Center: Aligns the vertical centers of all selected objects so they’re centered along the same horizontal line.
  • Align Horizontal Center: Aligns the horizontal centers of all selected objects so they’re centered along the same vertical line.
  • Align Right: Moves selected objects so their right edges are aligned with the rightmost object.
  • Align Left: Moves selected objects so their left edges are aligned with the leftmost object.
  • Center Vertically in Canvas: Moves selected objects so they are centered vertically within the entire design canvas.
  • Center Horizontally in Canvas: Moves selected objects so they are centered horizontally within the entire design canvas.
  • Distribute Vertically: Evenly spaces selected objects along the vertical axis, based on their top and bottom edges.
  • Distribute Horizontally: Evenly spaces selected objects along the horizontal axis, based on their left and right edges.

Window adjustment

The Window adjustment tools are used to adjust the view and gridlines of the Canvas.

  • Plus: Zooms into the Canvas.
  • Maximize: Resets the zoom to 100% to center the Canvas.
  • Minus: Zooms out of the Canvas.
  • Pan: The Pan controls shift the view of the Canvas.

Layout settings

  • Units: Toggles between percentage-based positioning/sizing or pixel-based values for placing and resizing Widgets.
  • Snap: Automatically aligns Widgets to nearby edges or guides.
  • Grid: Turns the design grid on or off in the Canvas.
    • Opacity: Adjust Grid visibility and color.
